Pro Booth FAQs

The Go Booth is an iPad booth, utilizing a front-facing 12MP camera, while the Pro Booth is equipped with a mirrorless 24MP camera. The Go Booth is designed for simplicity and ease of use, allowing it to function without the need for a Booth Specialist. In contrast, the Pro Booth offers a more advanced setup, which is why it includes a Specialist for operation. The Go Booth comes with a built-in LED ring light, which we enhance with overhead studio lighting and a softbox (see “What is studio lighting?”). The Pro Booth, on the other hand, uses an umbrella and flash for studio-quality lighting.

Having a Specialist is a little like having a personal chef. Sure, you are more than capable of whipping up a meal on your own, or you can enjoy the luxury of having someone else do it for you. Our Booth Specialists' priority is to ensure that your guests have fun, look awesome, and easily get their photos. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and there to bring out the best in every shot.

The Pro Booth is perfect for large groups! In portrait (vertical) orientation, it comfortably fits 1-8 people in the frame. In landscape (horizontal) orientation, you can easily capture 1-15 guests. (Strong squatting muscles recommended for those in the front row!)

The floor plan requirement for the Pro Booth is 10’ x 10’ x 8’. This ensures that the booth, backdrop, and lighting can fit within the space. The booth must also be within 15 feet of an outlet. If an outlet isn’t available, we offer a Wire-Free upgrade, providing a battery to power everything!

Some models of our Pro Booth are equipped with a front-facing ring light, but that’s more for aesthetics than function. All of our Pro Booths include a studio-quality flash and umbrella, providing ample light for any shot.

You can choose from any backdrop listed on our site! We can also refer you to some pros who create fabulous floral and balloon backdrops if you want to go all out.

We set up the Pro Booth ninety minutes before your photo booth service starts and ensure everything is cleared out within an hour after your service ends. We make sure to leave the space clean and tidy.

All Pro Booth guests receive their images via text immediately after their session in the booth. To kick up the nostalgia you can add Unlimited Printing to send your guests home with keepsakes from your event.
